As colleagues in a Harvard course titled Leading Schools, Mr. Perez (President of Janie\u2019s Mission) and Miss Ziech (the Director of The English Academy Rapa Nui),<\/strong> exchanged experiences in how the Covid-19 pandemic had affected their school community. In learning that Rapa Nui\u2019s island community had suffered extreme job loss, Janie\u2019s Mission surprised our parents and students with a generous donation.<\/p>\n

The original intention was for Janie\u2019s Mission to provide only 1 scholarship. However, their supportive and loving spirit resulted in 6 more anonymous donors, thus taking it to a total of 7 scholarship recipients!<\/p>\n

Not only did the Janie\u2019s Mission scholarship help our students financially, but it provided an incredible amount of joy and happiness to our community.<\/strong><\/p>\n
